Father's Month - I have been a father for more than half my life, and it’s not always an easy job, but I enjoy it. Both of my sons came back to live in our area after college, so it has been a privilege to have both of them around for most of their lives. Here’s how it works: Come into our League City restaurant and fill out a Registration Form. At registration you will receive a Summer Reading Log (parent’s signature and e-mail required). Go to your local library and check out books to read or visit The Teaching Cottage at 304 Gulf Freeway North and buy books to read (they both will give you a free kid’s meal coupon). For every 20 books you read we’ll enter your name into a drawing for the iPod. Read as many books as you like! If you fill up your reader log, just come back and get a new one. The program ends August 31, 2009. The iPod drawing will be held September 1st. Your presence is not required to win, but we will need a valid e-mail address to contact you. Sudie’s News. Sudie’s Graduating Class of 2009 You may have gotten a glimpse of these grads diligently buzzing around Sudie’s working as your hostesses and servers. We’re proud of all their hard work and wish them good luck in all their future endeavors! CCISD grads Monica Hargrove (left) and Ashley Miller (right) are getting ready for college. Monica will make a stop at San Jacinto Community College before landing at A&M to major in pediatrics. Ashley Miller heads straight to Texas State University this fall with plans to major in Mass Communications. Ruby Santibanez is graduating from Pasadena Memorial High School. She has been involved in the Child Care Guidance program at school and plans to study Child Care Development at San Jacinto Community College. Daniel Adamek is graduating from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Business. His goal is to become a financial analyst for an oil and gas company.
