Sudie's participated again this year in the oldest 4th of July parade in Texas—the Friendswood Parade. In 1896, the Quaker settlers in Friendswood would get together on July 4th for a picnic and baseball games. Today, we gather for the parade making our way toward League City for the fireworks show. Independence Day is a great time to be thankful for our freedom and the sacrifices it took for us to enjoy it today. God bless our troops and God bless America!
